Angels and Insects B.A. Bosaiya uses a modified large format 4x5 inch view camera and a two heavy cinema tripod for stability to support an eight-foot rail and bellows - the entire camera setup weighs 47 pounds. His subjects are all dead insects, found in windowsills and around outdoor lights. The subjects are not just "bugs" but subjects of portraiture, comparable to family portraiture, comparable to family portraits, where personalities and expressions are captured. |
