GRADUATE AND UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS
REBECCA BEALS, MFA candidate in jewelry design & metalsmithing, was a presenting speaker at the 2012 Texas Jewelry-Metals Symposium in September in Lubbock.
REBECCA HOPP, MFA candidate in photography, ADAM REDD, MFA candidate in ceramics, and ZACH TATE, MFA candidate in ceramics, were three students included in the Funded Summer Research exhibition is the Satellite Gallery at LHUCA during September.
MAE graduates of the Junction Campus summer program presented works from their final exhibitions in the SOA Satellite Gallery at LHUCA during the August 3 First Friday Art Trail. Included in the exhibition were works by WILL CLARK, GAIL CURREY, DAWNA HELSTROM-HENNESAY, BRENT KIYAN, TIFFANY ROUSSEAU, BOB RYNEARSON, and MARCO SANCHEZ.
ZACH TATE, 3rd year MFA candidate in ceramics, had an untitled teabowl receive 1st Runner Up Prize in the KC Clay Guild Teabowl National (Kansas City, MO) in August. The juror was Bede Clarke.
