Future Akins-Tillett is an art educator. She has also curated exhibitions such as Honky Tonk Visions and Nothin' Else To Do for the TTU Museum. Her work was exhibited in Setting the Stage: A Contemporary View of the West at the Eiteljorg Museum of Western Art, Indianapolis IN. A caregiver for her father for nearly a decade, she has also
published "Miss, Miss, Look At What My Mother Sent Me From Jail" in The Journal of Social Theory in Art Education.
