Janis Elliott (Ph.D.)
Associate Professor in Medieval History of Art
Dr. Elliott’s research has been awarded international fellowships including two Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada Fellowships and the British School at Rome Grant in Aid of Research (1994). She writes on 14th-century Italian church decoration. She co-edited the highly-acclaimed book, The Church of Santa Maria Donna Regina: Art, Iconography and Patronage in Fourteenth-Century Naples, 2004.
