Christa Bowden’s series Still Flight explores the memory and individuality of fallen insects. Utilizing both modern day scanning equipment and 19th century photographic processes, Bowden analyzes unique creatures through different lenses.
Currently Assistant Professor of Art at Washington & Lee University, Lexington, VA, Christa Bowden holds an MFA from the University of Georgia, has received numerous honors for her photographic work, and exhibits nationally.
