Computer Lab

The School of Art has two Apple Macintosh computer labs located in Architecture 204 and in Art SB 29. The lab space in Architecture 204 offers 6 public-use computers for general usage and for printing work on color and black-and-white laser printers. Accessed through Architecture 204 is the classroom computer lab in 205 with 12 student workstations and 1 instructor’s workstation. The instructor’s computer is identical to the student workstations with the exception that it is connected to projection equipment for presentation and instruction.

Our second classroom computer lab is found in the main Art building in the Sub Basement (SB) room 29. The classroom computer lab in SB29 features state-of-the-art Apple Macintosh workstations with 27” displays. This classroom computer lab is heavily used by the School of Art’s Transmedia classes and is also shared by other disciplines. This lab feature 12 student workstations and 1 instructor’s computer that is connected to projection equipment in high definition. This lab also features an audio recording room equipped with sound recording hardware and software on an Apple Macintosh workstation.
