About the Safety Office

The Safety Office provides Operations Division employees with service that is focused on quality to ensure the employee's work place is safe, dependable, and efficient to drive the productive process in providing teaching, research, and support services to achieve the institutional goals and objectives. This is done by defining requirements, defining measurements, setting goals, and embarking on process improvements for improved safety functions.

Our key functions are to handle issues related to workplace health and safety standards, compliance with safety codes, safety incident and vehicle collision investigations, and injury prevention.
