Agricultural Education and Communications
The Agricultural Education and Communications (AEC) Department has 11 faculty. Five faculty members are involved in water-related research and education. Their research on social factors provides effective outreach components for water management as well as an educational focus on water resources. Faculty interests and expertise that relate to water include:
- Teaching water issues and related curriculum needs.
- Information sources and channels for water management decisions.
- Beliefs, attitudes, and behaviors about water management.
The AEC department’s focus on water is behavioral-focused through information dissemination and education about water use and conservation to students, educators, management and policy decision makers, and the general public.
