The Cross-Cultural Academic Advancement Center was founded in 2007 as a means to offer co-curricular programs and services to faculty, staff, students and the community in an effort to provide educational experiences that seek to broaden knowledge of diversity, multiculturalism, social justice and inclusive excellence. Although the CCAAC continues to hold those ideas and philosophies constant, the purpose of this summary is to introduce a new mission and vision for the Cross-Cultural Academic Center, as well as goals and methods that the CCAAC has put into place that will continue to support the strategic plan and goals of the University for the 2015-2016 year.

The purpose of the Cross Cultural Academic Advancement Center is to provide students, faculty, staff and members of the community with the opportunity to be involved in programs and activities which promote the discussion and awareness of diversity and inclusion excellence. To accomplish this, CCAAC offers a variety of co-curricular programs and activities which promote a learning environment that stimulates academic achievement, global communication and personal leadership.
