Cesar Chavez Day - Richard Chavez
In 2006, Richard E. Chavez, a founding member of the United Farm Workers of America, and brother of the late Cesar E. Chavez celebrated the anniversary of his brother, the late Cesar E. Chavez in Lubbock, Texas. Mr. Chavez took time from the week’s activities to speak to TTU faculty and staff regarding the importance of keeping the “Spirit of Cesar E. Chavez” alive.
