Outreach and Distance Education
The Division of Outreach and Distance Education (ODE) administers more than 65 college-credit courses. These courses meet the same academic standards as their campus-based equivalents and, in most cases, are taught by the same faculty.
Current enrollment in a college or university is not required, but those who are enrolled should contact their academic advisor to determine the applicability of these courses to their degree plan.
All Texas Tech students must have their academic dean’s signature on the enrollment form before they can enroll in ODE courses.
These courses are flexible and enrollment is year round. Students take individual study courses for a variety of reasons, including to resolve scheduling conflicts, meet financial aid requirements, or provide an alternative to summer school. For more information, visit www.ode.ttu.edu.
