Weekend shuttles to Midland

A round trip non-stop student shuttle service from Texas Tech University directly to Midland or Odessa leaves from the Texas Tech campus each Friday afternoon and returns on Sunday. My Shuttle Home is a Midland based company and is the transportation provider. This venture is in cooperation with Parent and Family Relations at Texas Tech. Round trip costs are $40.00 per person. Friday departure dates from Lubbock include:

Shuttles will depart from the south area of the Student Union Building at 18th and Boston Ave. (service drive between the Music Building parking lot and the Library parking lot) at 2:00 p.m. every Friday through the end of the Spring semester. Passengers will be dropped off/picked up the following Sunday, beginning at 1:30 p.m. (Odessa: Music City Mall ) and 2:00 p.m. (Midland: Midland Park Mall in front of Sears).

Lubbock International Airport

Airport transportation: At this time, Texas Tech University does not offer airport shuttle service. Students needing rides to the airport are encouraged to get rides from friends or use one of Lubbock's local taxi services. Yellow Cab - 806-765-7777; Checker Cab - 806-771-8899.
