I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the funding website! As the account manager for your SGA funds, it is important to me that you have all the information you need to follow SGA policies and procedures.

This portion of the SGA website is devoted to the student organizations that receive funding through the Student Government. It provides pertinent information, forms, and dates to funded student organizations, as well as to organizations seeking to receive funding from SGA. Student organizations seeking to receive funding from the Student Government Association for the 2008-2009 school year must complete the Budget Process as outlined below.

Hopefully many of your questions will be answered by the information provided on this site; however if it does not, please feel free to email me, call or come by my office.

Funding Training*

  • This seminar strives to explain the process of using allocated SGA funding. We will discuss the policies and procedures that govern SGA funding. These seminars are held in September of each year. There may be one or two offered in the spring, but none are scheduled at this time.
  • NOTE: Student officers and new advisors are required to attend one seminar in order to use your SGA funding. Previous advisors are welcome to attend as well.

    This is your chance to see how the Budget & Finance Committee actually allocates the funding for student organizations. Members of the committee will also be on hand to aid you in completing your organization's Budget Request Application.
