Student Organization Funding

Funding Process

In order to receive funding the following steps must be completed. For a complete explanation of the process please view or download the Funding Process Handbook.

The Right Steps to Take:

  1. Obtain a Funding Request Packet and SGA Funding Regulations Handbook from the SGA office or in our Downloads section.
  2. Gather financial documentation and receipts necessary to complete the Funding Request Packet.
  3. Attend one of four budget workshops to learn to correctly complete the Funding Request Packet.
  4. If desired attend a one-on-one preparation time with the Committee on Budget and Finance.
  5. Submit your Funding Request Packet by 5:00pm, Friday, January 26, 2007

    Include:

    1. 3 copies of the Funding Request Spreadsheet
    2. one signed CCL Registration Certification Form
    3. one signed Funding Contract
    4. one signed copy of Advisor Financial Disclosure
    5. one copy of your organizations constitution and bylaws
    6. one copy of Orgnaization Roster
    7. any additional information you deem necessary
  6. Sign up for a Funding Interview in the SGA office by 5:00pm, Friday, January 25, 2008
  7. Promptly attend your Funding Interview.
  8. Attend (if you wish) the First, Second, and Third Reading & Final Passage of the Organization Funding Bill during the Senate meetings on the dates indicated.
  9. Await notification of funding in your organization’s mail stop.
