Recycling Program
SGA as well as several other departments on-campus are currently working towards a comprehensive campus-wide recycling program. This will include avenues to recycle mixed paper, plastics, as well as aluminum in some locations throughout campus. Our goal is to have convenient recycling bins located throughout each building on-campus as well as a few outdoor locations for you to recycle.
The Student Union Building has also implemented a comprehensive recycling effort by placing bins for newspaper, cans and plastic in various locations around the SUB. Check to see if your academic building or residence hall is equipped with recycling bins.
If you are a department on-campus and would like to add recycling to your buildings please contact us with an idea of how many bins you will need. To schedule a pick up for mixed paper, please contact Elvin Verritt at the Physical Plant at 742-3314.
