About the Department

Texas Tech Computer Science at Abilene is a Graduate-Only program. Since we do not have any undergraduate students, our faculty can devote more of their time to teaching and mentoring Master's and Ph.D. students. As a result, our students get more contact with their professors than is possible in other, larger, programs.

We are dedicated to hiring the best faculty available, and bringing in the best students to work with them. Our graduates get a better education than they would get at other places, as can be seen from the jobs that our graduates get.
