  • Thanks to Brandon McCoy and the Operations Division Energy Managment team, Texas Tech has been voted as the TEMA Program of the Year!
  • The Professional Grounds Management Society recognized Texas Tech University - R7 Pedestrian Mall with an Honor Award in the Society's 2022 Green Star Awards competition. The award was given in the Public Works Site category for exceptional grounds maintenance.
  • Texas Tech University was recognized by the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education as a STARS Silver Institution for the second year in a row based on its reported accomplishments in campus sustainability. The Sustainability Tracking, Assessment and Rating System™ (STARS) is a transparent, self-reporting framework for colleges and universities to measure their sustainability performance. It addresses the environmental, social and economic dimensions of sustainability.
