Undergraduate Admissions Holds

Transcript Holds
Texas Tech University requires final transcripts from your high school and from any colleges that you have attended. The registration holds for final transcripts take effect on October 1, 2021 and will prevent registration in Spring classes. To lift the hold, follow the instructions below.

High School: Final transcripts must be official, be sent to us by the school, and include your graduation date. These can be sent through an electronic service such as Naviance or Parchment, sent through US mail (Undergraduate Admissions, Box 45005, Lubbock, TX 79407), or uploaded through the Counselor portal.

College: Final college transcripts must be official, sent to us directly from the school, and contain grades for all coursework. These can be sent through an electronic service such as SPEEDE or through US mail (Undergraduate Admissions, Box 45005, Lubbock, TX 79407).

Pandemic Holds
If you have a Pandemic Hold, it is for an unofficial document that you provided during the spring semester and will need to be updated with an official. This hold will become effective October 1, 2020 and will prevent your registration in Spring classes.
