Summer Scholarship Program

The application for the 2019 Summer Scholarship Program has closed.

The Summer Scholarship Program is an opportunity for you to get a head start on your college career this summer. If selected, we'll provide you with a scholarship for your first course at Texas Tech University! A limited number of scholarships are available. Simply follow the steps below to get started.

1. Complete the Summer Scholarship Program Priority Application. If selected, you'll be notified by the Office of Student Financial Aid & Scholarships.
2. Attend a Red Raider Orientation (RRO) session prior to June 4, 2019.
3. Register for a minimum of 6 hours of summer courses and the Fall 2019 semester. If selected, we'll award you a scholarship for your first summer class!

Scholarship Eligibility & Amount

• Incoming transfer students - $1,000
  • Must be admitted for the Summer 2019 or Fall 2019 semester.
  • TSI compliance required prior to Summer 2019
  • Must be a domestic student 
• Incoming former TTU students - $1,000
  • Must be readmitted for the Summer 2019 or Fall 2019 semester.
  • Left in good standing
  • Must be a domestic student
