New ePAF Templates

Several of the ePAF Approval Categories are being edited to include new ePAF entries for Hours per Day, Hours per Pay, Factor, and Pays. NOTE: The instructions for these fields vary slightly on different ePAFs (such as New Hire versus FTE Change).

A new ePAF Templates, Revised April 2009 has instructions for all ePAFs, including these revisions. The manual has been reformatted so that it will be easier to replace sections in the future instead of re-printing the entire manual. Also, the new format will allow sections to be added without reprinting the entire manual.

2-KNOW, Knowledge Base and Video Tutorials are here!

AFISM’s 2-KNOW is now Live!! This is an information resource. Reach us – either by phone at 2-KNOW (2-5669) or by e-mail afism.2know@ttu.edu. Quick response and precise information will be provided.

From the AFISM Webpage you can access a knowledge base which will provide answers to many of the questions you might have regarding the new systems and processes being implemented. The Knowledge Base is accessible from all pages of the website – look for the KB Icon or the words Knowledge Base. The information presented comes from questions that you submit. When you submit a question, you are helping others across the campus.

On the AFISM web site there are now video tutorials – link to them using the red bar on the left side of the AFISM home page – select training and then video tutorials. These will complement the training classes that are currently running and will provide learning opportunities when a class is not warranted.
