
COLONEL DOUGLAS M. CRABB
Lieutenant Colonel Douglas M. Crabb is the Professor of Aerospace Studies and commander of United States Air Force Reserve Officers Training Corps Detachment 820 at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas.
Lt Col Crabb earned a bachelor’s degree in education from Edinboro State University of Pennsylvania and received his commission from the Officer Training School of the Air Force at Lackland Air Force Base, TX. He has served in various operational and staff assignments to include numerous positions in maintenance and logistics. His staff assignments include duty at Headquarters Air Combat Command where he was responsible for the formulation, compilation, analysis, and presentation of quality performance measures used by Congressional, Department of Defense, HQ USAF, and Air Combat Command leaders..
Lt Col Crabb has commanded at the flight, maintenance squadron, and as a deputy commander in the largest training group in the US Air Force. His deployment experience includes support of the no-fly zone missions in Operation PROVIDE COMFORT. He has served in the European, Pacific, and Southwest Asian theaters.
