Food Security Cluster Hires

The International Center for Food Industry Excellence (ICFIE) is a well-established transdisciplinary team that has been conducting successful research and teaching programs at Texas Tech University for over a decade. Its faculty members have a long history of collaboration and success in working with each other and have been successful in working in diverse teams to solve domestic and international problems related to food.

A cluster hire of four faculty members as members of ICFIE in a transdisciplinary team among the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources, College of Human Sciences and the Health Sciences Center has been approved. These four faculty members will work to strengthen and broaden ICFIE's ability to address global food security by conducting global research, teaching and outreach.
