Application Review Process

Once the Graduate School receives the application, transcripts and official GRE scores (and TOFEL scores for international students), and the department receives the fact sheet, the applicant’s resume or CV, applicant’s statement of short term and long term educational and career goals, and three letters of recommendation, the applicant’s information is reviewed by faculty members in the student’s indicated area of interest. If accepted by a faculty member, the graduate coordinator will notify the graduate school of the department’s interest to accept the student. The Graduate School makes the final decision on acceptance and notifies the applicant.
