The Center for Agricultural Technology Transfer (CATT), in partnership with the Plains Cotton Growers Association of Lubbock, Texas, has embarked on an initiative to improve leadership training opportunities for agricultural producers and leaders in West Texas.

The future of agriculture and the long-term success of an agricultural organization may well depend upon individuals who are capable of providing effective leadership.

 
 

Leadership is both an art and a science and leaders need to equip themselves with tools to be effective in a variety of situations.  Leadership education is a special form of knowledge, talents, and conceptual applications which, with careful planning and delivery, can foster stronger adult leaders.
