Joint Agricultural Teacher Certification Program


Texas Tech University and Angelo State University


On January 4, 2006, TTU and Angelo State University (ASU) approved a dual BS degree program cumulating in a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Agriculture (Agricultural Education – teacher certification).  Students in this program complete three years in ASU’s Animal Science program and spend an additional 3 semesters at TTU completing certification.  At the conclusion of the program, students will receive both a B.S. in Animal Science from ASU and a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Agriculture from Texas Tech University. I nterested students are encouraged to contact Dr. Gil Engdahl at ASU and Dr. Steve Fraze at Texas Tech University.
