DID YOU KNOW?
Agri-Techsans are heavily involved in the College’s and the University’s activities, and thus are the perfect people to tell prospective new students and their families about the opportunities that the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources offers. High school career days, job fairs, class presentations, and club meetings are perfect venues for prospective students to find about admissions requirements, financial aid opportunities, and what it is like to be a member of the Red Raider family – straight from the horse’s mouth.
Agri-Techsans also give tours of the College’s facilities, including the horticultural gardens and the Meat Laboratory on campus, as well as the research farm at New Deal, Texas, and the Texas Tech Equestrian Center in west Lubbock.
Agri-Techsans are the official student recruiters for the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources. They are undergraduates from every department in the College, and come from many different backgrounds--from rural areas to large metropolitan areas, from Texas and other states, from agricultural to non-ag backgrounds.
