Christmas Open House. The weather outside was anything but frightful on Dec. 14. That’s when CASNR faculty and staff, along with our friends across campus, gathered at the Goddard Building for the Annual Dean’s Office Christmas Open House.   Learn More >>

Water Research. U.S. Rep. Randy Neugebauer, R-Texas, and Sen. Robert Duncan, R-Lubbock, toured Texas Alliance for Water Conservation demonstration project sites Oct. 25 near Plainview. Program participants, along with agricultural leaders from Texas Tech and Texas A&M, were on hand.   Learn More >>

Cotton Harvest. Cotton researcher Craig Bednarz and his research team harvested experimental plots Oct. 23 at CASNR’s Quaker Avenue Farm. The scientists are studying the relationships among stand establishment, seed quality and lint yield.   Learn More >>

2006 Homecoming Breakfast. Visitors from across the state arrived early Oct. 7 at Texas Tech’s Livestock Arena for a good meal and friendly morning of football forecasting. Donations benefited the Student Ag Council Scholarship and General CASNR Scholarship Funds.   Learn More >>
