Name: Landee Kieschnick

Major: Agricultural Communications

Classification: Junior

Hometown: Vernon

Extracurricular Activities: I am involved in Agri-Techsans, Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow (ACT) Ag Ambassadors (Vice President), Block and Bridal and I am currently a Texas Corn Producers Intern & Go Texan Intern

Hobbies: I have a unique hobby that not many people can do now a days, and that is play the accordion. I still love to play with my grandmother and do duets for family reunions or birthday parties.

Plans After College: I plan on attending Texas Tech again to receive my Masters in Agricultural Communications. I would then like to work for an agriculture industry; such as Texas Corn Producers or Texas Farm Bureau, as their communications director.

Favorite Thing About Davis College/TTU: My favorite thing about Davis College is the numerous opportunities there are to meet new people and become involved in organizations that potentially help you to be an advocate for agriculture. Organizations like Agri-Techsans have truly helped me with confidence and knowledge to represent the college of agriculture at Texas Tech and represent the Ag industry.

Advice for Future Students: My advice for future students would be to go out and start getting involved. This really helps your transition into college, and is a great way to start having certain roles in different organizations and meeting so many new friends. I would also like to add not to be afraid to come out of your comfort zone. It is during those times that you truly strive throughout college and have those opportunities to be in something great that you will remember for the rest of your life.
