Nathan and Carolyn Boardman Endowed Scholarship

Nathan and Carolyn Boardman Scholarship Endowment was established by Nathan and Carolyn Boardman in 2011. These scholarships are available to students enrolled in the Davis College of Agricultural Sciences & Natural Resources.

Nathan Boardman graduated from Texas A&M University in 1956 with a degree in agricultural education. He served as CEO and a major stockholder of Crosbyton Seed Company in Crosbyton, TX. In 1972, Crosbyton Seed Company was formed, and at peak, achieved providing thirty to thirty-five percent of the annual grain sorghum seed acreage planted by US farmers. Previously he was an assistant agriculture extension agent in Lubbock County and had worked for a chemical sales company. He is part of the College of Agriculture Development Council at Texas A&M University and has made various donations to Texas Tech University. He and his wife Carolyn have two daughters- Lisa and Jana.
