Pearson Family Endowed Scholarship

Bob and Jackie Pearson

The Pearson Family Scholarship Endowment was established by Bob and Jaclyn Pearson in 2011. The scholarship is awarded to undergraduate students majoring in the Davis College of Agricultural Sciences & Natural Resources. Preference will be given to students from Lipscomb, Ochiltree, Hansford and Sherman County.

Bob B. Pearson graduated from Texas Tech with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics and a JD in Law in 1971 and 1973, respectively. His wife, Jaclyn, received a BA in Chemistry from Texas Tech in 1972. They have three daughters: Ginger, who received a BA in Spanish, a BA in Advertising and a JD in Law from Tech in 1992, and 1995, respectively; Carrie, who received a BAA in Petroleum Land Management from TTU in 1998; and Laura, who received a BA in Spanish and an MBA in General Business from Tech in 1997 and 1998 respectively.

Bob is an attorney and part owner of Tharin Company, Inc., Pearson, Renner, Inc., Old Hansford Corporation, and Cole Ivey Auto Plaza of Borger, Inc. Bob owns and operates a 960-acre ranch in Hansford County with his brother Doc Pearson. Jaclyn owns Kid's Stuff. Bob and Jaclyn reside Spearman, TX.
