		<description><![CDATA[The Horse Judging Team received a 2nd place overall at the All American Quarter Horse Congress on October 11th in Columbus, Ohio. The team received a 1st place in the Team Reasons competition and 2nd place in Team Halter. The Horse Judging Team is coached by Kris Wilson and assistant, Will Golden.

		<description><![CDATA[The 2006 Beltwide Cotton Conferences were held January 3 through January 6, 2006. Dr. Don Ethridge, Dr. Jeff Johnson, Dr. Phil Johnson, Dr. Vernon Lansford, Dr. Conrad Lyford, Dr. Jaime Malaga, Dr. Mohamadou Fadiga, Georgia Clark, and Mark Welch attended the conference. The Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics had ten papers presented.
