CERI & ICRC Research Symposium: Cotton experts gird for sweeping federal budget cuts.
In light of historically high cotton prices, impending federal budget cuts and early 2012 Farm Bill discussions, Texas Tech cotton researchers hoped to spark a dialogue with industry leaders, producers and policymakers on how to navigate through these uncertain times.

The International Cotton Research Center is committed to providing comprehensive, state-of-the-art, multidisciplinary and systems-oriented cotton research and education programs focusing on all aspects of the modern cotton industry, including genomics, genetics, production, field to fabric processing, development of high value-added bio-products from fibers and seed, marketing, and international trade. The ICRC aims for international recognition as the premier center of excellence in all aspects of cotton research, outreach and education – the cornerstones upon which the center intends to build its reputation.
