CASNR Homecoming Breakfast 2008. Alumni of Texas Tech University’s College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources got a warm welcome Oct. 11 as the graduates, young and old, celebrated the college’s annual Homecoming Breakfast festivities at the livestock arena behind the Animal and Food Sciences Building in Lubbock.   Learn More >>

Larry Combest Endowed Chair in Agricultural Competitiveness. Texas Tech has announced the establishment of an industry-supported endowed chair to increase the competitiveness of High Plains agriculture in an economy increasingly linked to international markets. Officials also introduced Darren Hudson, an award-winning agricultural economist who is the first chair recipient.   Learn More >>

80th Annual Pig Roast.. CASNR honored the college’s scholarship donors and recipients, as well as intercollegiate judging teams Nov. 8 at the 80th annual Pig Roast at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center. 2007 Homecoming Breakfast.. Three new national championship banners were hung at this year’s CASNR Homecoming Breakfast on Oct. 6 at Animal and Food Sciences’ Livestock Arena. Donations from the annual event benefited the Student Ag Council Scholarship and General CASNR Scholarship Funds.

2006 Homecoming Breakfast. Visitors from across the state arrived early Oct. 7 at Texas Tech’s Livestock Arena for a good meal and friendly morning of football forecasting. Donations benefited the Student Ag Council Scholarship and General CASNR Scholarship Funds.
