Q: Can I come and visit before I decide?
A: Sure, The ARC Center and Career Center can schedule meeting for students to meet with their department and to visit CASNR. For more information contact Meredith Campbell at (806) 742-2808.
Q: When/Where Can I take a campus tour/visit CASNR?
A: See the Texas Tech Visitors Center website to arrange a tour.
Q: Do you have an open house for admitted students?
A: The University hosts 15 orientations for students to attend prior to coming to Tech. CASNR hosts an annual Ag Fest within the first week of classes in which students can meet professors and learn about clubs and organizations in the college.
Q: If I’m accepted, when do I have to decide? When is the deadline to deposit?
A: Visit Student Business Services for "Important Dates" and the "Tuition and Fee Schedule".
Q: Due to circumstances beyond my control, if I am unable to get my deposit in by the deadline. What should I do?
A: Contact the Student Business Office at (806) 742-3772.
Q: Do I need to submit my final grades to Tech? When does Tech need to receive them?
A: Final grades must be submitted. University Admissions must receive them by advanced registration for the second semester that the student is attending. If final grades are not received by this time a hold will be placed on the student’s account.
