Q: What are CASNR students like/what are they involved in?
A: More than twenty clubs, organizations and judging teams in CASNR offer chances to meet other students who have similar interests, compete in interscholastic contest, and gain leadership experience. For a complete list, visit student Clubs and Organizations.
Q: Do I have to live on campus?
A: Texas Tech requires that students entering the university with under 30 hours to stay on campus (this does not include AP, dual or CLEP credit). There are many options to fit a student’s needs both on and off campus. Visit the Housing website for more information.
Q: What dorm is best for CASNR students?
A: Stangel/Murdough because it has a learning community for CASNR students. It is located close to “CASNR row” (the area in which most of the departments in the college are located). It also has the Market which offers good food.
