CASNR GRADS PIONEER PEACE CORPS MASTER’S INTERNATIONAL PROGRAM
Shaped by a willingness to serve and a desire for international experience, two Dallas-area women, who just graduated from Texas Tech University last month, have been selected as academic pioneers of sorts. CASNR LAUNCHES NEW PEACE CORPS MASTER’S INTERNATIONAL PROGRAM
The Peace Corps has announced that Texas Tech University’s College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources is their newest partner in its Master’s International program. The program is the first in Texas to allow Red Raiders to earn graduate degrees in agriculture and natural resources while serving abroad as Peace Corps volunteers. more »

Admission to the Master's International program requires students to apply both to the Peace Corps and Texas Tech University at the same time. Students must meet with the University Coordinator at the International Cultural Center before starting their application process.

Peace Corps Application Process:

  • Submit the Peace Corps application online
  • Peace Corps contacts student for an interview
  • Student gets medical and legal clearance
  • Peace Corps contacts student with an assignment

Texas Tech University Application Process:

  • Admission to either graduate program is granted by the Dean of the Graduate School. Rolling admissions will be offered for the Master's International program

Submission of the following information must be made to the Office of Graduate Admissions:

  • Texas Common Application: apply online
  • Application fee of $50
  • GRE test scores and official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended

Note: Agricultural Sciences & Natural Resources students must interview with the Associate Dean and/or a representative in the College for acceptance
