What Is The Peace Corps Master's International Program?
The Peace Corps Master's International program is a partnership program between Texas Tech University and the Peace Corps. This program offers students the opportunity to apply credit for Peace Corps service towards their Master's degree. In today's job market, international experience is highly coveted by employers. Completion of the Master's International program allows students to earn a Master's degree and 27 months of international volunteer experience simultaneously. Many returned Peace Corps Volunteers have gone on to be senators, governors, ambassadors, journalists, business leaders, teachers and other respected professionals.
Is The Master's International Program For Me?
Have you ever dreamed of having the adventure of a lifetime? Or of going abroad, but didn't think you could? Did you study abroad in college and want to continue that experience? Or have you always felt called to serve people in developing countries? There are so many reasons the Master's International program may be for you. Whatever the reason, the Master's International program offers you more than just a classroom education. Not only does the Peace Corps give you the opportunity to experience different cultures, but it also prepares you for that experience by providing three months of pre-service language and technical training, and in-service training to support your experience.
