Eleven members of the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources were honored today (Oct. 29) as the inaugural class of the CASNR Advising Academy. Representing the college’s six departments, the participants focused on a series of workshops that ultimately aim to provide more consistency between programs, give faculty and staff more confidence when advising students, and create a more efficient advising process.  more »

Texas Tech breaks previous enrollment numbers; CASNR contributes 2,010

For the seventh-straight year, Texas Tech University reported another enrollment record with 35,893 students for the fall semester, a 2.1 percent growth from fall 2014. Meanwhile, Tech’s College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources continued its record-setting overall student enrollment pace, with 2,010 students signing up for classes in the fall semester.  more »
