Members of CASNR’s Dr. Bill Bennett Student Success Center hosted their annual Ag Fest today (Aug. 27) at the Department of Animal and Food Sciences’ Livestock Arena here on campus. As temperatures hovered in the mid-nineties outside the sprawling building; inside, students, faculty and staff roamed the facility in a late afternoon filled with fun and information.  more »

Prior to this year’s Texas Tech College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources’ Advisory Board Meeting, a ‘Chuck Wagon Breakfast’ was held on Friday (Aug. 21) at the Bayer Museum of Agriculture in Lubbock. Graduate School honors student theses, dissertations from CASNR programs

Texas Tech University’s Graduate School has announced the recipients of this year’s awards, which recognize the quality of work shown in graduate students’ theses and dissertations. This year those honored included topics in biological and life sciences. Students were nominated by their discipline’s faculty members for the cash award donated by the Helen Jones Foundation.  more »
