Llano River Field Station receives education and public service award

The Llano River Field Station, the strategic arm of the Texas Tech University Center at Junction, has been presented this year’s ‘Education and Public Service Award’ by the Universities Council on Water Resources. Researchers at the field station, including several from the Tech’s College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources, collaborate on studying and solving the issues of the region and beyond, including watershed, range science and environmental education and public engagement.  more »

Eight students from Texas Tech’s College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources have been selected to receive prestigious Terry Foundation Scholarships, university officials announced today (May 27). Selected from an application pool of more than 1,000 high school seniors who have demonstrate exceptional leadership, character, financial need and scholastic ability, the foundation provides four-year scholarships.  more »
