Sweetwater native Larry Sullivan, a long-time attorney turned landscape architect, has been named an assistant professor in Texas Tech’s Department of Landscape Architecture. He has extensive professional design experience in diverse landscape projects.
Bastrop native Ryan Rathmann, one of the nation’s top livestock judging team coaches, has been named an assistant professor in Tech’s Department of Animal and Food Sciences. His research focuses on scientific validations of assumptions made in live animal evaluation across all species.
Florida native Melissa Currie has been named an assistant professor in Tech’s Department of Landscape Architecture. The Cornell University graduate’s research interests focus on building understanding about the relationship between man and his environment, both built and natural.
A native of Carmen, Okla., Irlbeck has been named an assistant professor in Tech’s Department of Agricultural Education and Communications. She teaches video production in agriculture, senior seminar and agricultural products and promotions.
A native of Meadow, Ritz has been named an assistant professor in Tech’s Department of Agricultural Education and Communications. He teaches management of supervised agricultural experience programs and methods of technological change.
