Attorney, landscape architect joins CASNR

Larry Sullivan

Sweetwater native Larry Sullivan, a long-time attorney turned landscape architect, has been named an assistant professor in Texas Tech’s Department of Landscape Architecture. He has extensive professional design experience in diverse landscape projects.

 
In Profile: Landscape Architecture’s Melissa Currie

Melissa Currie

Florida native Melissa Currie has been named an assistant professor in Tech’s Department of Landscape Architecture. The Cornell University graduate’s research interests focus on building understanding about the relationship between man and his environment, both built and natural.

 
Irlbeck joins AEC faculty as assistant professor

Erica Irlbeck

A native of Carmen, Okla., Irlbeck has been named an assistant professor in Tech’s Department of Agricultural Education and Communications. She teaches video production in agriculture, senior seminar and agricultural products and promotions.

 
Agricultural education gets boost with Ritz addition

Rudy Ritz

A native of Meadow, Ritz has been named an assistant professor in Tech’s Department of Agricultural Education and Communications. He teaches management of supervised agricultural experience programs and methods of technological change.

 
Plant ecologist joins Tech’s Plant & Soil Science Department

Jyotsna Sharma

The plant ecologist and conservationist from the University of Florida joined the Department of Plant and Soil Science as a new assistant professor of environmental horticulture in March. Her research focuses on the biology and conservation of rare plants.
