Flat Out Fine: Tech's Langdon Winds Up Fall Rodeo Season on Winning Note
Texas Tech's Taylor Langdon began this year's rodeo competition where she left off last season, dominating barrel
racing's regional riders. Riding her mare 'Frenchy,' the senior exercise sports major
from Aubrey, won the overall title at the Eastern New Mexico University Rodeo in Portales;
placed third at the Sul Ross State University Rodeo in Alpine; and took first overall
at the Clarendon College Rodeo in Clarendon. This past summer Langdon was a member
of Texas Tech women's rodeo team that made school history, winning the team's first
national championship at the 64th annual College National Finals Rodeo in Casper,
Wyo. She currently leads the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association "" Southwest
Region barrel racing category.
