Excellence recognized; CASNR standouts selected for Dean's Scholars Awards
Top academic standouts from Texas Tech's College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources were recognized as 2012-2013 Dean's Scholars today (Apr. 5) at the university's International Cultural Center. The awards, funded by various donations to the college, are based on academic excellence as well as leadership, character and citizenship.
"These scholarships were established by the college to reward academic excellence and to support studious young men and women who choose to major in agricultural and natural sciences," said Michael Galyean, dean of the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources.
