Plains Cotton Cooperative Association (PCCA) is now accepting applications for a yearlong paid communications internship beginning in May. The position provides students with valuable, hands-on experience in written communication, social media, photography, layout and design and other public relations activities that support PCCA's mission. The ideal candidate will have experience with Adobe software applications (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator) as well as an understanding of AP Style.
PCCA is a farmer-owned cotton marketing, warehousing, textile and apparel manufacturing cooperative headquartered in Lubbock, Texas. With 10,000 active members in Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas, PCCA handles almost 30 percent of the entire U.S. cotton crop annually.
