Agricultural Council: Taylor Kirk named February 'Aggie of the Month'
Name: Taylor Kirk; Major: Animal Science; Classification: Senior; Organization: Alpha Zeta; Hometown: Crosbyton; Month: February 2015
Taylor Kirk, a senior animal science major, received the Aggie of the Moth award at the February Agricultural Council meeting. Kirk, a Crosbyton native, represents Alpha Zeta.
Kirk chose to come to Tech because of the strong family roots that he has with Tech, along with the West Texas hospitality that makes up the Lubbock atmosphere.
"By receiving this honor, I only feel more proud and honored to be in the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources, and more compelled to do my part as a young agriculturalist," Kirk said.
Kirk is looking to work in the agriculture or energy field, but ultimately wants to join his father on their farm and ranch operation.
