Faculty, top students highlight CASNR Honors Banquet at Texas Tech's ICC
Standout students, staff and faculty from across Texas Tech's College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources were honored Friday (Apr. 24) at its annual Honors Banquet at the university's International Cultural Center in Lubbock. Sponsored by the Ag Council, the event featured a variety of honors.
Recipients of the outstanding student departmental awards were:

Separately, new Ag Council leaders for the 2015 -2016 were recognized. They are Sinclaire Dobelbower, president; Joshua Alford, vice president; Chamonix Mejia, secretary; Taylor Kalka, treasurer; and Shelby Maresca, scribe. Student Government Senators for 2015 -2016 were Gracen Daniel, Ben Ramsey and Jordan Vogel. The club of the semester for Fall 2014 was Sigma Alpha, and the club of the semester for Spring 2015 was Collegiate FFA.
Meanwhile, outstanding professor awards went to Ryan Rathmann for Fall 2014 and Max Miller for Spring 2015. Outstanding staff members were Jane Piercy for Fall 2014 and Holly Cogdell for Spring 2015.
