Established in 2009 by the Southwest Meat Foundation, Inc. to provide scholarships to currently enrolled junior or senior Animal Science majors with a minimum GPA of 2.5 who have demonstrated participation in extracurricular activities and expressed an interest in the meat industry.
Established in 2013 by Tracy and Teri Davis to provide scholarships to students in the Department of Animal and Food Sciences with a preference to students focusing in beef production.
Established in 2004 by Dale and Debbie Taylor to provide scholarships to students majoring in the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources with a preference to students studying meat science. Recipients must have a minimum GPA of 2.5, with a preference to students who may not have an outstanding GPA but how have proven themselves worthy of a scholarship by their leadership skills, dependability and hard work.
Established in 1996 by the Texas Food Processors Association to provide scholarships for sophomore, junior, senior or graduate students majoring in food technology with selection based on academic performance and financial need.
