Cats have long been some of the most independent and unpredictable animals on the planet. Now, a Texas Tech researcher may have unlocked the answer to at least part of what a cat is thinking when it comes to what that cat prefers to scratch.
Four students from Texas Tech's College of Agriculture and Natural Resources are spending the summer working as interns in the nation's capital. Running from June through August, the college's congressional summer intern program affords selected students an opportunity to experience first-hand the government's day-to-day operations.
