Three students from Texas Tech's College of Agriculture and Natural Resources are spending the spring working as interns in the nation's capital. Running from January through May, the college's congressional spring internship program offers selected students an opportunity to experience first-hand the government's day-to-day operations.
For years Texas Tech's Center for the Integration of STEM Education and Research has offered an authentic research experience for College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources undergraduates, starting with what's known as the Undergraduate Research Scholars. STEM is shorthand for science, technology, engineering and math.
