Texas Tech University and the Royal Agricultural College (RAC) entered into an academic student exchange program with the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources beginning with the fall term of 2000. The purpose of the exchange program is to promote international friendship and world peace by stimulating and supporting intercultural activities and projects among students from the U.S. A. and England. The Royal Agricultural College offers educational opportunities in the areas of agricultural, land, food business, equine and property industries.

Each party will accept students from the other party for an academic year. The academic year for Texas Tech would extend from late August to the middle of May. The academic year for The Royal Agricultural College would extend from early October to the end of June. Exchange students are subject to the same regulations about admission to classes as pertain to students in the receiving institution. Each student will pay tuition and fees to his/her own institution and the students will simply exchange places.
